Your audio files are processed locally and are not uploaded by Audio Viewer.
Audio Viewer is designed to keep your audio files on your device.
When you choose a supported audio file, it is processed locally in your browser. The app does not upload your audio file to a server, and it does not send the file contents, filename, local file path, or raw waveform data to analytics.
We use Google Analytics to understand basic usage of the website, such as page views, traffic sources, device/browser type, and approximate country. Analytics loads only after you choose to allow it, and you can change that choice from the footer.
For product analytics, Audio Viewer may send privacy-safe event data such as file type, file size bucket, duration bucket, render time bucket, and error type. These events do not include filenames, audio contents, local paths, emails, names, raw sample data, or precise file metadata.
When advertising is enabled, Google AdSense may display ads and process data needed to deliver, measure, and protect them. Where required, advertising choices are collected through the consent message configured in Google's certified consent management platform. AdSense stays disabled until the site has an approved publisher account and advertising configuration.
In short: your audio stays in your browser.
